Top Trending Food in 2015: Brinner

For many people around the world, breakfast is their favorite meal of the day. When people are rushing 5 days a week for work and just grabbing a yogurt or croissant on-the-go, the extravagant full breakfasts are being shuffled to the side for the mornings of Saturdays and Sundays.

Introducing something we’ve all been waiting for: Brinner (breakfast for dinner). Now that there is a specific name for this, it’s time we start implementing this delicious idea. BBC has named breakfast for dinner one of the top trending foods in 2015. Although this might not be the healthiest of dinner choices, I believe that as long as you add in a little protein to your full-blown English breakfast, you should be just fine!

Restaurants around the world are starting to open up breakfast joints that are open all day like the UK’s “Cereal Killer Café and ‘The Waffle House’.

Sure, some of the most popular breakfasts for dinner may be the basic eggs and pancakes but some people are broadening their reach and making some pretty spectacular brinners.

Some of these extravagant breakfasts include Breakfast Pizzas, Breakfast Casseroles, Frittatas, and Délices D’endives, which is a classic French dish of, baked eggs with smoked ham and chicory.

Next time you’re looking for a unique dinner, think about making some Brinner with some salmon and chive pancakes or Beer Waffles stuffed with sausage and cheese!
